Thank you for your interest in applying to SMBP WISE (Work Insight & Skills Experience)! Please read through the below application process before applying.

Please allow 15 – 30 minutes to complete your application. You may want to prepare answers to the following before you begin:

  • In no more than 200 words, explain why you are applying for this programme.
  • In no more than 200 words, explain what skills you currently have, and what skills you need to gain for you to be successful in your dream career.
  • Students can use AI as a powerful support tool in their SMBP application by helping them brainstorm ideas, structure their answers, and practise explaining their experiences more clearly. However, it should be treated as a guide, not a shortcut. The most compelling applications come from genuine, personal reflection, so students should always rewrite answers in their own voice, add specific details from their real experiences, and ensure the final wording is authentic.
